Whereas red&green coaches are made up from LHB- Linke Hoffman Busch- Germany company but  in India, Kapurthala line coaches manufactuers them .   Some of the reasons to replace them are , ICF basic demerits are if any failure occurs it looks up to replace the parts rather than upgradation &repair.ICF uses dual buffer coupling system to merge two coaches and due to this whenever accident happen coaches climb on one another and it leads to major losses. whereas lHB uses center buffer coupling system,due to this coaches won't climb on eachother,they fell side by side and reduce loss.
